We, @Denimology, love our hip hop, our romantic love songs, even a bit of country, and we also love some good classics, jazz and any kind of mixture of music. And this is what life in beautiful NYC is all about, there is simply something here for everyone .. 🙂
We are delighted to be introducing Max Herskovitz, who, besides being an absolute music “head”, is also passionate about his denim. What better reason for us to introduce a guy like this! He told us he chose this particular pair of dark wash, and more “serious” jeans for the stage to accompany the feel of his music. We all so totally understand what this is about, right? Like can you think of maybe Gwen Stefani performing her kind of show in a fancy cocktail dress LOL (no, right?)!
Max will be featured at the ZINC bar in New York this week, and I can’t wait to check out what his music is about.
Here’s some info about this talented musician.
Pianist Matt Herskowitz – cool ride from classical to jazz
Great performance flair and exquisite technique have led pianist Matt Herskowitz on a genre-bending musical exploration, incorporating classical idioms with jazz – and world-music.
On May 14th, at [email protected], Matt will perform original works by Chopin, working back the classical canon into his own, iconic jazz improvisations on these classical themes.
GetClassical concerts, produced by music journalist Ilona Oltuski are geared to further classical music’s presence in New York City’s nightlife scene. Intimate settings in cool venues promise a particularly personal atmosphere, encouraging new audiences to get attracted to great musical talent – an amazing experience.
