“Orange Is the New Black’s”, Taylor Schilling, just slammed what she dubbed the inauthentic, selfie-obsessed “Kim Kardashian culture”.
Showing off her Canadian Tuxedo, Taylor Schilling is featured on the front of ELLE Canada’s June 2015 issue. The actress went for double denim in a Gerry Weber chambray shirt for Elle Canada’s June cover, which hits newsstands May 11.
The “Orange is the New Black” babe poses in a variety of playful, flirty looks in her cover story while chatting about the pressure she feels to share private moments via social media.
Taylor explains: “It has almost become a defiant thing at this point [to stay off social media] because I do not believe this celebrity Kim Kardashian culture is what I signed up for. I’d rather create something honest than try to create something for a social-media account. Besides, my brain is just way too fragile for both. [Laughs] I am susceptible to what people think – I think we all are. So it’s just easier for me to not engage with it too much.”
Hey, we can’t agree more whit what Taylor is stating here! Well done, Taylor!
