We Wore What in Joe's Skinny Jeans

I remember when the grey skinny jean first took hold of the market. Sarah Jessica Parker was seen in a grey pair of Habituals in the late-2000s and suddenly the grey skinny look took the market by storm. There’s something very awesome about a grey pair of jeans…they are almost like your neutral black or white staple; they go with just about anything but have even a greater range of possibilities due to being right in the middle of the spectrum. To demonstrate, we found blogger Danielle of We Wore What in Joe’s skinny ankle jeans, wearing a gorgeous grey shade with a lighter grey top. Since these are ankle skinnies, she’s got plenty of room for her cute pointed flats to pop, and as soon as fall comes around, ankle skinnies fit so perfectly into boots! These are truly a versatile jean, and the monochromatic look always looks so good! Usually I like to keep contrast from top to bottom, but when it comes to neutrals, it always seems the sky’s the limit. Grey jeans are so easy to dress up or dress down, and Danielle keeps it looking casual yet chic by keeping it relaxed up top and fitted on the bottom. A look like this doesn’t need a lot of accessories to turn heads!

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
