Parker Smith on The Shine Project

There’s probably nothing as classic as neutral tones when it comes to denim…and Fall is usually a great time to stash away the bright colors and pull out the toned down ones from Summer hibernation. Black skinny jeans are always on trend, and should always be a staple of any lady’s wardrobe, but in my opinion, it’s much more fun (and cool, temperature wise) to rock them in the cooler weather. This time of the year, all the grey and black denim starts flooding all collections form the major brands, and a little distressing adds a fun pop to them! We spotted Parker Smith on The Shine Project…the Kam Skinny in Pewter Destroy, to be exact. Ashley Lemieux, the face behind the online shop and blog which employs inner city youth to hand make jewelry (yay!), wearing these pretty dark grey skinny jeans with her little ones as they pick the perfect pumpkins for Halloween! This jean has a flattering midrise and curve hugging fit, so it’s perfect for all body types, and Ashley looks totally cute and cozy in a red tunic length top and grey sneakers. I’m sure these jeans would look awesome tucked into tall boots too…one of my favorite pieces for my favorite time of the year!

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
