Thomas Dislich, Director of VICUNHA for Europe and Asia, sums up the latest issue of Denim Première Vision Barcelona, held on 18th and 19th November 2015:
“Since our return this is now the second time VICUNHA has showed at Denim Prémiere Vision, taking a large stand of 84sq feet in a prominent position, the freshness of the stand perfectly reflected the creativity and dynamic nature of the new products. Much emphasis of the range was on technological advancements with the introduction of super flexible fabrics
offering the wearer total freedom of movement and comfort.
Working in partnership with Denim Première Vision VICUNHA created the Mansion of Denim bags which were distributed at the entrance to the show to all visitors.
VICUNHA featured strongly in the trend area where they showed inspirational wash effects on the new lines. There was much interest in the new bi stretch products with denim offering up to 80% stretch, and 360 degrees movement. The popular athletic range showed an increase in the number of lines on offer, items such as “Twist”, offering 80% stretch and duo core technology hit the mark. New yarn mixes with new technologies were very well received with the viscose and tencel mixes offering huge appeal especially to the women’s-wear market.
The partnership with Mosevic created much excitement, VICUNHA endeavors to support creativity in young talent and the solid denim sunglasses carefully handcrafted in the UK were a big hit.”
