Just about every brand had their own answer to the growing lean towards stylish athletic wear in the fashion industry, with people everywhere ditching their favorite jeans for even more comfortable alternatives. The jogger became a new denim style, and several brands picked it up and turned the idea into something of their own. We saw Parker Smith do it, and so has Denimocracy, in a very similar style! We spotted The Blonde in Boots blogger Chelsea Deen in Denimocracy, rocking their Track Trouser in Indigo Dip. This is just like Parker Smith’s Jogger in Indigo Dip, and it makes sense, considering these two brands work back to back! The Track Trouser is made of a lightweight tencel fabric, with an elastic waistband and cuffs…it’s the classic sweatpant’s stylish older sister. It’s so cool seeing this normally casual look being dressed up into something super chic, and Chelsea knows just how to do it. She rocks it in a beautifully minimal look, allowing it to take over with just a white blouse, white sneakers and black clutch to accompany it. Some styles may come and go, but ombré always takes center stage.

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
