Julia Mateian in BLANKNYC Vegan Leather

I’m sure all of you readers can agree with me when I say it’s safe to say the BLANKNYC Vegan Leather line is a hit with bloggers…and it makes perfect sense. The black leather jacket is such a timeless, classic piece for an effortless touch of edge, and the moto vibe just gives it that much more oomph. But of course, leather comes at a high cost, both in terms of your wallet and environmentally, too. This time, we spotted blogger Julia Mateian in BLANKNYC Vegan Leather, wearing the Moto Jacket in Ol Lady. It was pretty brilliant for the brand to release this line awhile ago, which is made up of all sorts of vegan leather pieces beyond jackets, like skirts, jeans, dresses, you name it. I like how Julia dressed hers up, with a pair of comfortable sweatpant-like black joggers, giving it an athleisure touch. Her fuzzy vest placed over the jacket is also a very unique idea and her grey clutch gives the entire outfit a little bit of monotone contrast. Black leather jackets obviously go with anything, but keeping up the all-black look definitely plays off the moto vibe in a very awesome way!

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
