There’s no question about a basic black skinny jean being an important style staple. It goes with anything, and flatters like few other pieces do. However, high waists made a comeback last year which was extremely refreshing and adds more variation to the denim industry for all the variations in body shapes. They re-emerged around the same time that flares did, which also makes sense because both were common in the ’70s and vintage fashion is right back in style. High waists also accentuate the waist and make legs look longer (just like flares)! Here is Natalie Off Duty blogger Natalie Suarez in Mother, wearing the Looker Skinny Jeans in Not Guilty. Another great innovation last year was the introduction of LYCRA® infused denim, which adds a curve-hugging appeal without bagging or stretching out. These jeans have a 9.5″ high rise with a Cotton/LYCRA® spandex/polyester fabric blend, and an ankle-skimming 29″ inseam which adds even more versatility for styles and seasons…tuck them into boots or wear them with flip flops in the summer! Mother is also made right here in the USA.
