I’m starting to feel like a broken record, proclaiming my love for everything this brand makes…but I can’t help it! Beyond all of the amazing denim that BLANKNYC styles at a convenient, lower-than-premium price point, the focus seems to be shifting more and more to their incredible ready-to-wear outerwear collection. It will be interesting to see if this sticks once festival season comes around again, since it was their marvelous collection of edgy, distressed jeans and shorts that were centered in the spotlight last year. Their Vegan Leather line has opened the door to so many great styles of outerwear after it was made up of mostly leather-look pants, skirts, shorts and the handful of moto jackets! We spotted Sarah of Sarah Styles Seattle in BLANKNYC, rocking one of their newest releases, the Suede Moto Jacket in Backhanded Compliment. Unlike many of the others, this one is real suede, which seems rare for the brand! But in true BLANKNYC fashion, they know how to mix it up. This rich blue moto jacket also has a burgundy version available. Sarah wears hers distressed skinny jeans and a grey graphic tee, which otherwise look casual without such a bold piece on top! This jacket is a definite must-have and I’m sure it would go very well into the springtime as the weather warms back up as well.
