The spirit of the Notting Hill Carnival should bring to life the spring/summer 2016 Pepe Jeans London campaign, starring Georgia May Jagger and Simon Nessman. Are you ready to get it on? – that’s the title of the new campaign, photographed by Daniel Jackson and styled by Katy England. One focus: denim, the linchpin of Pepe Jeans London.
Set against a backdrop of sound-system speaker stacks from the Notting Hill Carnival, the print campaign celebrates the music, dance, and subcultures of Europe’s biggest street party. Pepe Jeans was born in the heart of Carnival on Portobello Rd in 1973.
Pepe Jeans collaborated on this campaign with Spring Studios, the creative communications agency renowned for its innovative work within the fashion industry. Online films and social content featuring the cast support the print and OOH campaign, alongside regular street style shots from West London. An in-store zine is dedicated to the UK’s Summer music scene and its rising stars, including Izzy Bizu and Raleigh Richie.
