Parker Smith Ava Skinny in Zorro Review - Front View

Hello denim world! My name is Brandelyn Dynes and I’m a new curvy reviewer for Denimology.com. I’m very excited to do this first review, as I have worn jeans of all shapes and designs my whole life! I don’t know if it’s my fun loving, casual Californian spirit or what but I could always make any pair of jean stylish. From a relaxed casual outfit to a dressed up nice pair of form fitting jeans with heels and accessories. I am always looking for comfortable clothing for my own personal style but also for my hobby as a fire performer. Did I say fire? Yes I did! I spin fire fans and other various props. Jeans are a good to wear for flexibility and fire safety. I am very blessed to have an amazing pair of jeans that arrived from Parker Smith jeans, so read on for my Parker Smith Ava Skinny in Zorro review!

Parker Smith is a new brand founded by Mary Ellen Moschetti in 2014. Made in Los Angeles, CA, right in the center of the fashion district. Parker Smith Jeans states that they are made for the “real woman” and curvy women like myself, focusing primarily on mid and high rises. Everything on these jeans are finished and checked thoroughly by hand, down to the buttons and riveting. The brand uses eco-friendly fabrics that are super comfortable, soft, absorbent, and resistant to wrinkles. Who could ask for more? Not only are the jeans amazing but Parker Smith proudly employs local seamstresses, designers, dye shops etc. all from the Los Angeles area, which brings jobs to the local community.

Parker Smith Ava Skinny in Zorro Review - Back With Fan

The first style I was given to review was the Ava Skinny in Zorro. When I opened the box and took the jeans out, I was in awe. Such soft and amazing to touch. These are made from stretched twill, which consist of 51% Cotton, 38% Lyocel, 8% Rayon, and 3% Spandex. With these amazing fabric combinations you have a pair of jeans that stretch but always stay firm fitting after several wears. No stretching out, no gap in the back, and even better no wrinkles. I was afraid I was sent a size too small, as I received a 30 (size 10). Based on a size 6 the Front Rise is 9.25″, Inseam is 29″, and Leg Opening is 10″. Single button closure and zip fly. I put them on and they just slid and stretched over my curves, fitting me like a glove. These Jeans just fit and flattered my whole lower body. I literally jumped for joy! Nothing has ever felt and looked so good! The style I received is again the Ava in Zorro. They are solid black with ripped, distressed knees. Looks great with cute flats or even stylish sandals. I absolutely love them!

For my first review I feel very lucky to be introduced to Parker Smith jeans! Go get yourself a pair. Amazing quality and fit! I’ll definitely be shopping for my next pair soon. I hope you do too. Don’t miss out on this amazing new brand!
