Valentino’s new Spring/Summer’16 Collection is such a stunner!  With its beautiful, delicate prints, pastel colors and soft natural fabrics it embodies the seasons it was created for.

One of the capsule collections, Denim Butterflies, of course particularly stands out for us. Done just in a few pieces this abundantly embroidered line is certainly a showstopper. Here rich blue denim serves as a perfect canvas for vivid, multihued butterflies. Its rigid, contrasting texture softens and lightens up otherwise heavy-ish embroidery truly bringing it to life.

High-waisted shorts and crop top as well as 5-pocket denim dungarees from this capsule are adorable. I love the retro-inspired silhouettes that go so well with the overall feel of the collection. My favorite pieces however are the Rockstud Medium tote and Small Shoulder bag. Shiny spiky pyramids definitely add an extra oomph to these beauties.

I am the EU contributor and product reviewer for Denimology. From the time I was 5 years old browsing through my first fashion magazine I knew I wanted to be in this industry. While working as a Merchandiser at Gloria Jeans, the largest denim manufacturer and retailer in Russia, I discovered my passion for denim. It fascinated me then and years later it fascinates me even more. Every day I learn and discover something new and exciting about denim and am thrilled to do it hand in hand with all of you!
