Dolce & Gabbana are known for their lavish women’s designs with abundance of lace, crystals, beading and intricate needle-work. For Fall/Winter’16 their men’s line was also filled with sensational, almost 3D embroideries including on numerous denim pieces.
Jeans, trucker jackets and western style shirts were beautifully decorated with large-scale floral, animalistic and folklore motifs. Suited-up head to toe on the runway the double denim looks were bold and dramatic. With that said each piece on its own is very wearable. Perhaps not every single guy can pull it off which is perfectly okay but many can certainly do. Worn with a plain dark wash jeans and solid color v-neck one of those embroidered denim jackets would serve as a great completer piece to a stylish, handsome ensemble. And, for example, ornamented jeans would look ultra smart and classy with a simple tee and chunky-knit cardigan.
This is definitely a very exciting collection which I can’t wait to see in person!
