FashionRoll in BLANKNYC - Side Shot

When boyfriend jeans first came out in 2007 or 2008, I admit I wasn’t privy. I was all about the form fitting skinny and bootcut styles. I still am, but lately the looser fits have grown on me! It probably helps that the lack of winters that California’s been having has made that summer laid back feel a bit more eternal, and the boyfriend jean definitely is more comfortable from time to time. As the years went by working with Denimology and getting to know denim even more, the vintage look has grown on me too. So, the ripped boyfriend is a favorite and I now have several styles in my closet! They are easy to dress down, but many may not realize they also dress up pretty well too if you do it right. Here is Stephanie of FashionRoll in BLANKNYC, wearing the Suede Moto Jacket in Morning After, which takes her look from a lazy Saturday to Saturday night on the town ready! This jacket is a gorgeous deep red or burgundy piece, with zippers and buckles in all the right places. One thing about moto jackets…they are ALWAYS in style and add such a fun easy edge to any outfit!

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
