Boyfriend jeans are really growing on me…actually, they have a lot ever since they emerged in the mid-2000s. I’ve always been primarily a skinny jean person, but with the crazy California heat we were experiencing in place of an actual winter kind of got me falling more for the looser fitting styles, especially the distressed varieties! Cult of Individuality played a good part in that too, when I reviewed the Alter Ego Boyfriend. This jean is all kinds of cool. Not only is it made in a heavyweight, sturdy Japanese selvage denim, but fits like an old favorite and just oozes edge. They look so good with any outfit! Here is blogger Olia of Love, Olia in Cult of Individuality, wearing one of these babies. She’s wearing the Alter Ego Boyfriend in Nova! This is a pretty medium blue wash with rips and tears in all the right places. It’s cut to hug your hips and casually taper down to the ankle. Olia wears hers with a breezy printed button up top, which compliments them perfectly!
