Trig Perez in PRPS

To me, PRPS seems to have become the iconic jean for the man who wants more style, more ruggedness and more edge in his favorite pair. Who says only women like to wear a beautiful pair of jeans? With the rise of raw denim from cult status to proving itself worth the price for the quality, I’m seeing more and more stylish men step out in them. Especially, and not to sound redundant, the rugged types! I’ve never seen any other men’s jean brand offer such a huge variety of both clean jeans and styles that seriously pop! You can’t ever go wrong with Japanese denim, and PRPS seriously knows how to make a serious pair of jeans. Here is model Trig Perez in PRPS wearing both the Demon Slim Straight Leg Selvedge Jeans in 6 Month (top photo) and the Barracuda Straight Leg Jeans in Pangaroo.

The Demon Selvedge in 6 Month is a dark, dapper, distressed and distinguished jean. Strong whiskering marks natural crease points on this elegant deep blue jean, and flows in concertina creases down the back of the calf. Bleaching runs boldly down the outside leg, as if stripped by the sun; and more gently round the subtle treatment on the pockets. A flash of slender braid trims the coin pocket. Our unique back pocket fold makes a punchy detail. The Pangaroo Jean is a rip & repair indigo denim jean made from 11oz denim, featuring an uneven antique dye with repair stitch detail. The Barracuda fit is mid rise and straight.

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
