Just like a black leather moto jacket, a solid denim jacket is a timeless closet staple. Despite what many might think, it’s easy to wear them with jeans without committing a blatant double denim look! All you have to do is what you see here…keep up the contrast with a much darker or lighter wash with minimal fading if your jacket has the traditional denim look. A colored skinny jean would work well too! This is Thrifts And Threads blogger Brittany Xavier in L’AGENCE, wearing the Celine Jacket in Authentique Distressed. Most denim jackets are made of 100% cotton, but this beauty has a 94% cotton, 5% poly and 1% spandex outer shell and a 65% poly, 35% cotton lining for ultra comfort, fit and style! Brittany pairs hers with a beautiful vibrant dark blue pair of skinny jeans, a classic black bag, shoes and a striped scarf to play it up a bit. I love how her jeans are almost as dark as her jacket, but she still avoids sticking out in head-to-toe denim! Just like a favorite pair of jeans, this jacket has distressing here and there for extra character, and would be a great choice if you are looking for a denim jacket that doesn’t quite look like the rest.
