Jasmine Tosh in Parker Smith

Sometimes it seems colored skinny jeans come and go…some years they are all over the place and some years they seem few and far between. Personally, I wear them whenever the heck I want to, despite trends or seasons, because they give such a fun new twist to dressing up in the morning. I usually dress jeans first, and then something dressy up top. But with a pretty colored or printed jean, the top is no longer the star of the outfit! There is such a variety of jeans out there in all colors of the rainbow, but more earthy or neutral shades can rule the block as well. Tan jeans haven’t been seen around much in the last few years, but it seems they are starting to pop up. Here is blogger Jasmine Tosh in Parker Smith, wearing the Ava Skinny in Pyramid. The Ava is always one of my first recommendations for all women looking for a good pair of skinnies, as they were built to fit all shapes with an ultra soft, stretchy fit that will not bag or loose its shape, and a flattering high rise to hug the hips. This washed vintage hue gives it a pretty character on its own, and is hand sanded for an even softer, slightly distressed feel. This jean would look so cute with a black top to let them pop, or as Parker Smith says, with a cream top and dainty flats for a head to toe ultra feminine look.

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
