Kelsey Reckling Decked Out in STRÖM Brand Denim

Everyone has mixed feelings on the double denim look…for good reason, I guess…it can be hard to pull off correctly! I always suggest to keep up the contrast—a lighter denim on top and darker on bottom, or vice versa. However, everyone now and then someone awesome comes along and keeps the same denim look going head to toe, and looking fabulous doing it, too. Here is musician Kelsey Reckling decked out in STRÖM Brand Denim, wearing the Kotte Dust vest up top and Nio Cropped Jaguar jeans down below. I guess it goes to say that musicians can wear just about anything and still look pretty badass! Her black boots round it up perfectly and do give her double denim look a little contrast to make it pop. The cool thing about the Kotte Dust vest is that it’s made of high quality selvedge denim, and built for a vintage feel on a contemporary silhouette. It’s made to be a little oversized, but like anything of that type, sizing down is always an option if you like a more snug fit! It also features just a little distressing for a touch of edge. The Nio Cropped Jaguar jeans are a gorgeous medium blue wash with subtle distressing and a little paint splatter with a perfect worn in look and frayed hems! The cropped 27.5″ inseam let you wear these with whatever footwear you so desire.

It appears Kelsey is a big fan of STRÖM, we spotted her just earlier this month in another great piece from the brand! See her look here.

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
