Torn up denim shorts are always in each summer, thanks in part to festival season! Either way they offer a cool alternative to the baggy ripped up boyfriend jeans that seemed to have gotten popular all of a sudden over the last year or two. Denim shorts are nothing new though, especially the super short booty kind! I don’t see a whole lot of bermuda, or “tomboy” shorts all that often. However, here is blogger Nalia In Vogue in Cult of Individuality, wearing their Tomboy Shorts in Dyna! These 100% cotton (Japanese denim to be exact) are still just as form flattering as the best of its shorter kind for the more modest folks out there, with raw hems and just enough distressing to keep them full of character. Nalia shows just how amazing and body-complimentary the Tomboy Shorts are, wearing them while out and about on a warm day with a tan crop tank. For those of us who want a cute pair of denim shorts without being afraid to bend over, or who want to sport a pair on a day that’s not quite blaring hot enough for shorties, these are an awesome choice!

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
