One Teaspoon has been in my top five favorite brands lately. I’ve always dug distressed denim, but their take on it is on another level…although it took awhile for me to warm up to some of their torn up and trashed styles, I’m hooked! Of course, they are aware that not everyone has jumped on board yet with the heavy distressing, and offer a good range of differently torn up styles for those who don’t quite like too much of it. Everything is beautifully vintage inspired, and most jeans are made from high quality rigid denim. Here is Heels On A Farm blogger Tanisha Andersen in One Teaspoon, wearing the Freebirds in Blue Blossom. The One Teaspoon Freebird jeans are best known for being heavily distressed above the knees, but this is an alternate style, with ripped and frayed knees and hems. It’s made to fit slouchy, so oftentimes some people size up, but it’s also possible to size down in many of these relaxed One Teaspoon styles for more of a skinny fit! This gorgeous light blue wash screams vintage, and Tanisha wears hers with a classic white tee and heels to keep a casual and yet dressy and chic look. These jeans definitely take center stage however they are dressed up!

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.
