High waisted, crotch hugging shorty shorts are nothing new, going back to the days of the Daisy Duke! These are always worn by the most daring fashionistas out there, and we saw plenty of them at festivals this year so far. I saw mostly torn, frayed up and distressed or light washed vintage styles (especially Levis), but not a whole lot of nice clean classic ones. Here are a pair of the Siwy Cher shorts in Vogue Spain, in the Nameless wash. These are a super high waist cutoff with a frayed hem (also popular this year, to my delight) that’s clean and ready for you to wear in yourself. Just like vintage styles, these shorts are made of a mostly cotton, nice sturdy 98% Cotton 2% Elastane blend to hold up through multiple wears. Vogue Spain’s model wears them with a denim jacket for a super cute double denim look, looking like she’s either coming from or arriving at a festival herself. The Cher short features an 11″ high rise in the front, 14″ back rise, and a short 1.5″ inseam. Do you got it? Then flaunt it in these babies and dance like nobody’s looking (or as if you’re on center stage!).
