Stylin by Aylin in a BLANKNYC Jacket

There’s so much you can do with a denim jacket…the possibilities are endless. No matter what trends come and go, or whatever comes along to replace it, this piece remains a classic staple, and the current vintage trend certainly doesn’t hurt its status either! When shopping for one though, where do you start? There are so many out there, and vintage denim often comes as a heavier weight cotton which is usually much better for fall. Having a lightweight piece to throw over your favorite summer outfits is so convenient, and something denim always adds some fun vintage edge. Here is blogger Stylin by Aylin in a BLANKNYC jacket, wearing the Cropped Denim Jacket in Karaoke Disaster. This jacket is anything but a disaster, at an 18″ cropped and frayed cutoff length in a pretty lightweight fabric with a worn in light blue wash. It also includes just a little bit of distressing to appear it’s been worn and loved over and over for years and years. And just how cool is that raw hem? It’s one of my favorite recent trends and I haven’t yet seen it on a jacket! Aylin wears hers in a super cute feminine lace dress, which goes so well with the more edgy, rebellious style. I love contrast in outfits and a light, distressed denim jacket like this one adds such a chic amount!

  1. True! I look at denim as the ultimate designer canvas especially if it’s raw.
