The latest fashion trend in denim definitely is an oversized and baggy look. We have seen these in almost all fashion shows on the runways during the New York, London, and now at Milan, in Italy. Global up-sizing! It all started with the oversized denim jackets a couple of seasons ago.

You might hate it, or you might love it, but you cannot deny it! As it is always the case when a new outside the box fashion trend appears, there is a certain reluctance towards the new.

We have embraced this trend totally and whole-heartily, as you can probably guess by some of my previous editorials, like the Demi Moore post just before this one.

My last shopping trip took me to the men’s department at the Urban Outfitter store and I have to say, I became smitten with these denims. Cropped, baggy, frayed hem, and 100% cotton, they totally “spoke” to me.

BTW, best of all, these bad boys are on sale right now for $29.99, so no excuses accepted. You MUST try this new trend!

Let us know if you did try and what you think:-)

And – ta ta – yeah, dudes are “allowed” to wear those too, of course!

  1. This is probably one of those looks that how much I like it is based on the hotness of the guy wearing it.

Kinda feel like the white socks may distract from the denim on one hand…or should I say one foot….and then again it is part of the look.?

Maybe some street style photos will show how dudes are wearing this look.

Wonder what the denim looks like without the socks…maybe a guy wearing penny loafers or driving shoes…slides..or getting really wild and wearing some fuzzy lined mules.

Generally speaking.a toe up for fashion forward gents!

  2. I agree. He looks great in these but usually when I see hyper trendy clothes on men, I don’t like it and reminds me to tone down my trends, too. No more cropped jeans for me. I’m over it. The jackets look good.

  3. The focal point of this look is the skater socks and sneakers, which are very 70’s
    Paired with washed crop jeans.

    Because the jeans and worker,bomber
    jackets are Monocromatic. The whole
concept is very interesting and cool.

  4. I enjoyed reading GML’s take on the look.

Still do not know if it would be a favorite ensemble to see my man wear.
