Andy Torres in the Levi's® 711 Skinny

It’s so easy for me to get so excited about all of these super fancy premium denim brands, but every now and then I am reminded why I can’t forget about the ones that have been here the longest, or aren’t really touted as “fancy” as much as the others are. Sometimes I appreciate a few brands here and there that have a lower price point but still have a high quality, but there really isn’t any brand as iconic as Levi’s. With roots that go way back in the workwear department of the denim industry, this American brand deserves all the respect as the one that started it all. However, I’m even more impressed by the many styles they release to stay competitive with the rest today! They are rugged while still keeping a classic and chic appeal. Here is Style Scrapbook blogger Andy Torres in the Levi’s® 711 Skinny, which is a laid back jean but fitted to flatter, for ease of going from work to happy hour. Andy has hers all dressed up, which I love because I love the juxtaposition of laid back jeans with super stylish pieces, proving that distressing can have a place in business, work, or even a nice dinner (if you do it right)! Wear them with a tank and flip flops on the weekends, with a pinstripe blazer for work during the week, or a leather jacket for cocktails. This jean has you covered.

  1. If I am seeing things correctly, if appears in the second photo where Andy is sitting down, that the Levi’s are cuffed in a non-standard way.

Are the pants turned up a little differently in the front compared to the back? Whatever is going on it looks better than most cuffing to me.

Those shoes look really pretty on her.

  2. it’s the sloppy roll that got started years ago and won’t go away because it still looks good. Any stylist at Madwwell can show it to you. (BTW, I do not recommend Madwwell skinny jeans = they grow like crazy.)
