BLANKNYC The Embroidered Skinny Jeans in Tiffany Blew Review- front view

Hey Denim Lovers! I’m so delighted to be back with another review! This time the BLANKNYC The Embroidered Skinny Jeans in Tiffany Blew.

I just made a bold life change and moved from Los Angeles to Denver. These BLANKNYC Embroidered Skinny Jeans are gonna help me complete my adventurous transition!

Of course, the focal point of these unique distressed jeans is the intricate embroidery on the front legs! The navy stitching is mirrored on both sides of the legs and give the jeans a totally tribal cool-girl vibe. I’m happy to report the embroidery is very tastefully done, in my opinion. I have NOTHING like this denim in my closet so I am thrilled to add them to my collection.

Other details I gotta mention are the identical sliced knees! They totally fit with the laid back feel of the embroidery and the distressed wash of the jeans. Below the front pockets are smaller and inconsistent slices (two on the left hip and one on the right) which add to the perfectly-messy look of the denim. Not to mention the on trend hem at the bottom features a high-low frayed hem, yes yes yes! (I like to call it the mullet hem.) On the back pockets, we’ve got the classic BLANKNYC five dot impressions on the left. Above the right pocket in the belt loop is the small black BLANKNYC brand tag.

In the photos I’m wearing a size 29 of this low-rise cropped skinny. The denim is mostly cotton and only 2% spandex so it’s well-made fabric with little stretch. These skinnies are great if you don’t want something skin tight that fits like a girdle, but if you’re looking for a more slouchy skinny.

I recently wore the jeans to a game night at my friend’s house and I got so many compliments on the unique accents! I think I’ll fit in Denver’s laid back hipster scene just fine.

  1. These jeans put a spotlight on the lower half. Therefore, not flattering to 80+% of women. High heels make it worse.
