Fall is here and the leather look is in…whether you opt for real leather or faux, it’s undoubtedly a popular style for the season. When it comes to jeans, sometimes real or faux leather material can be a bit heavy (although warm), and this is where coated styles come into play! With a coated jean, you get the fit and feel of a pair of jeans with the leather-ish texture on the outside. Here is blogger c.phraph in the Parker Smith Ava in Teal, which is a brand new style of a cut that’s been a big favorite in the Denimology family! This jean is made of a stretch twill in a 9.25″ rise, 29″ inseam for ease of tucking into boots, and finished with a distressed coating detail for a stylish texture. The muted teal color is a great fit for the jewel or earthy tones that come with the Fall season. I love how they are paired here with black! A muted blue and black is one of my favorite color combinations. These jeans look excellent with her heels, don’t you think?
The added shimmer that the coating adds makes them pop! If you’re concerned about coated jeans still feeling a little clammy like leather-ish materials, don’t worry…I have a few and am actually surprised how stretchy, breathable and comfortable they are. However, with the colder months upon us, I’m sure that coating will add a little extra warmth…it couldn’t hurt!
