In my world, everything clean and classy is better with a little edge. Whether you do that with a cool leather jacket or take the route of distressing, it’s all good in my book. I feel is especially true with white jeans! I, like most folks who fear white jeans, still kind of feel a bit wary because it is just so easy to get them dirty. However, wearing a pair with some distressing can make it a little easier! Here is blogger, photographer and graphic designer Jennifer Wu in the Level 99 Tanya Skinny in White Star. I reviewed a distressed pair of the Tanya two years ago (see that post here) and I gotta say it is still one of my top favorites (and I own too many jeans to count at this point). They are so ultra soft so keeping your true size will keep you feeling comfortable (Level 99 jeans are made with eco friendly and luxurious Tencel), and the 10″ high rise isn’t too high to feel cut off in the middle! As Level 99 puts it, the Tanya in White Star is fit for a rock star (just as I thought with the black pair I reviewed too). I also love contrast in outfits, so adding a leather jacket or tall black boots with these would look stellar! Jennifer keeps a nice Fall earthy look going with tan strappy sandals and a tan blouse. White jeans can be just as much of a staple as a pair of black or traditional blue ones! Level 99 jeans are also made in the USA.

  1. The web site posted pictures that are so blurry you can hardly tell what you’re looking at. I’m sure there is a reason for that. It’s hard to make good white denim and I suspect this is not it.
