STRÖM Brand Styled by Elaine Kim Studio

We’ve reviewed a lot of STRÖM Brand here at Denimology, and their Tio skinny tops our favorites list! What I love about the brand is that they stay super clean and classy, while also being able to throw in some distressing here and there. I love dressing up torn up or distressed jeans, mainly because it’s something most people do not do! Why not break the rules here and there (that’s what fashion is all about anyway) and be a trendsetter? I dig the extra tier of attitude and character a tastefully distressed jean can bring to the table. Here is STRÖM Brand styled by Elaine Kim Studio, which brings “inspirations & creations from designer Elaine Kim’s studio & shop.” Elaine Kim works super well with STRÖM, with clean and modern pieces. The jean featured in her photo above is the Tio in Jaguar, which is a great vintage-style skinny with a figure-slimming fit and “carefully planned” hand distressing and paint stains. It features a pretty dark blue wash and plenty of lived-in whiskering and fading! STRÖM Brand also carries similar tops as the blouse seen here, which goes to show this was a perfect fit for such a great jean.

  1. I love the top.

I don’t think super tight skinny jeans that have a baggy 10″ ankle opening are flattering. I would rather see them eased up everywhere or tight everywhere.
