Aditi Oberoi Malhotra in the Parker Smith Kam Skinny

I know that dark, skinny, distressed jeans are fairly common nowadays, but when I’m on the hunt it’s a lot more than visual appeal that I’m going for. Quality, fit, and feel are important, but if possible I always look to see which brands are taking steps towards environmentally-friendly initiatives! Parker Smith has always fit into all of those categories, and it looks like they’ve just taken it another step further. Here is Fancy Correctitude blogger Aditi Oberoi Malhotra in the Parker Smith Kam Skinny in Mysterious. This beautiful jean features a flattering 8.5″ midrise, a 29″ inseam and distressed details, but what sets it apart is its “green” appeal! The Kam Skinny in Mysterious was crafted with Oxygene denim, which is a special finishing process that uses half the water, chemicals and energy than traditional denim. Apart from Parker Smith being made in the USA, being delightfully soft to the touch, and fitting a wide range of body types, this is a total win all around! I would urge anyone who is looking for a chic but clean and classy pair of dark blue distressed skinnies to take a gander at this beautiful pair.

I’ve been quite the denim fanatic for several years now, and am happy to apply this passion to something that I can share with others. I am also a graphic designer/web developer and have done design work for two of the biggest designer boutiques in town, which is partly to blame for the 100 plus pairs of jeans I now own in my collection! It always fascinates me how much can be done with the denim fabric alone, and the constant innovations will always keep me hooked.

  1. I think medium shades of denim to lighter medium shades are my favs as long as the seat is not washed out.

  2. I agree. Washed out seats are an ugly trend.

I love the blouses on fancy correctitude. The rest I’m not nuts about. I could’t find info about the blouses.
