BLANKNYC Girlfriend jeans with a High-low hem

Raw hems were this summer’s top denim trend and totally continue this fall and winter season. Actually, by what I have seen in my press previews for the coming year, raw hems aren’t going anywhere, they are absolutely here to stay!

From cropped incarnations to flares, we’ve found the best styles to shop now. Find your perfect pair (or two!) below…

Some of them are in lighter washes to tide you over into fall and winter, or if you live in a warmer climate, and the darker washes, and of course the blacks, will be great for winter and cold weather.

  1. I like the uneven hem look and I am surprised someone did not think of it sooner or if they did I was left out of the loop.

I like the twist on this look-Topshop Mom Asymmetrical Hem jeans.

  2. I love Daisy Street Relaxed Wide Leg Jeans and I may buy these as hot weather wear for next year. Beware when you are looking at the pictures, not only are these jeans seriously cropped, the model is only 5’6.” If the length looks awkward but the rest is great, I will cut them off to under the knee, I love the drape of the denim and the loose seat and low pockets. Denimology, if you ever see jeans cut like this but full length, please let us know.
The Current Elliot jean is really nice and soft and not unflatteringly short for most of us. Current Elliot runs 1 size bigger than JBrand. But, Current Elliot jeans look good a little bit eased up.
I think the cropped trend has gone too short to flatter most legs. If your shin shape is one of your best features, this is your year. I prefer to buy full length jeans and cut them where I please. I also prefer to put the rips and cut outs where I please – except the Daisy Street rips are amusing.

  3. The uneven hem is my FAVORITE denim trend! I’m so happy to see more brands embrace it.

  4. Tailor made for those who struggle to cut evenly.

I bet LG is on target that professional tailors are not thrilled about these looks.
