  1. I like the grommets on the Hudson jeans.

Who do you see as the customer for Eileen Fisher jeans? I am curious.

Eileen Fisher has done some great drop crotch pants in the past. I have numerous pairs of them that I really like that are not denim. I still think of the brand as one having an older clientele following but some of the designs are quite edgy to me.

Hope you will share your thoughts.

The One Teaspoon jeans shown seem kinda tame for that brand.

    • Eileen Fisher has really great denim for the more laid-back and over 30 ladies, I actually like their oversized sweaters a lot. And yes, the drop crotch pants were what first called out to me from this brand!
As for 1Teaspoon – they sometimes do less distressed which is a heaven sent for us in NYC, because then we can wear them in winter, too πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

      • Thanks for your reply.

Do you have any of the Eileen Fisher harem pants?

Those were some of my first drop crotch purchases.

I do not recall seeing any EF drop crotch denim options.

I think One Teaspoon has some really great shorts in addition to their longer jeans. I have one pair that are drop crotch. I would like to purchase more shorts but most are just too short for me to wear.

One Teaspoon’s denim shirts are fun and hopefully I will buy one at some point. I do have a One Teaspoon denim jacket which features great detailing.

I also have numerous pairs of drop crotch jeans from One Teaspoon and one pair on non denim drop crotch from this brand that I adore.

      • Do you ever layer your jeans with holes and rips with tights and/or fishnets?

I doubt the fishnets would add much if any warmth.

        • I absolutely hate wearing jeans with tights – it is so uncomfortable, the tights keep rolling down on the waist and sliding down….ugh. Fishnets are scratchy and no, I prefer them with denim shorts.
The only tights I wear for layering are the Uniqlo Heattech and this only because of their added warmth and not because I love!

  2. Noir Part Deux shows brands I own except for Asos.

Even though I like to do my own thing, I still like to see that the brands I have purchased have not fallen by the wayside.

  3. I would like to think that people are not going to grab every trend.

I like the grommet idea only because it’s different. Unfortunately Hudson jeans don’t like my body.

I like the Eileen Fisher jeans because the back pockets are well placed. I’m not a big fan of contrast stitching.
