Siwy – Emmanuelle High Waist Crop Flare

cropped black jeans

Everybody’s been asking lately about high waisted, cropped, frayed hems, and blacks (always)….!

So Siwy, the sexy and edgy brand from LA, decided to create a pair of jeans that feature all above mentioned right now trends in one single pair of jeans and we are obsessed!

The Emmanuelle High Wast Crop with a slight flare at the bottom is a beautiful pair of extremely well fitting black jeans. There is no distressing, and there are no rips. The jeans only feature a slight and well executed frayed hem. This being a classic and clean-cut style, you can wear it instead of your always-black-skinnies. There are endless ways of pairing these, especially if you thin about shoes and booties. With a cropped length like these (25′ inseam)), you can wear them with either chunky oxfords and fun socks, with high leopard print booties, or even with lace-up combat boots.

You can buy the Emmanuelle High Waist Crop Flare – Moon Of Alabama jeans on the Siwy website.

And if you are not into cropped flares – stay tuned, tomorrow we will be posting about a beautiful pair of black flares with a long (34′) inseam.

  1. You seem to adore fun socks. Please reveal how many pairs of socks you have ans do you do low rise…mid rise…high rise…?

    • not counting, but at least 10 pairs lol – always crew or ankle 😉 it’s really a fun way to make your denim look different!

      • Thanks for replying.

Since you do not post pictures of yourself I wish I knew some paparazzi to tip off about you and your fun socks.

        • you can see lots of me in many of my posts:-)
Denimology is a professional blog, and that means we actually REPORT about the denim, as opposed to most blogs that are purely narcissistic. I am a behind the camera person, focused on telling you guys about denim who-wears-what, trends, styles and brands. I believe that this is much more interesting!

  2. Love the styling in the picture. Clean and simple. I love the concept, but i want the hem to be just above my ankle, like the cropped fray microboots from last year. The color appears to be dark blue. If they made these with a 28″ inseam, I would give them a try. Since these cropped flares have a raw edge it would make sense to sell them longer so people could choose their own inseam, since everyone is a different height, has different shins and has their own best place to crop. They could even mark the inside for DIYers.
