sustainable denim

Soorty, a vertically integrated denim manufacturer from Pakistan is keeping its tradition of innovations and sustainability. Their research teams are committed to serve your denim needs.

In the last Denim PV Paris SS-18 show, they have launched the “Zero Water Blue” capsule collection which is a milestone for the denim industry because it is vertically sustainable.

In today’s world most of the people lack fresh drinking water and it is our responsibility to save our future generations. Vertical Sustainability is about being green throughout the entire production process, from raw fiber up to the ready, washed, garment.

Soorty’s “Zero Water Blue” capsule includes the use of special features like organic cotton, BCI, recycled fibers, zero water waste dyeing, Eco-finishing, responsible laundering with Ozone, Laser, E-flow, Green Screen CHEMICALS, and measuring impact with Jeanologia’s EIM.

All of us here @Denimology applaud any kind of environmental consciousness. Kudos to one more denim manufacturer adhering to sustainable denim.

ZERO WATER BLUE reduces the water consumption by 90% in fabric manufacturing. Further, green chemicals, processes, and machines in the laundry have reduced the water consumption per garment to 1.6 liters. Zero Water Blue utilize only 3.1 liters water per garment from raw fiber up to the finished garment. And the interesting fact is that this process has zero impact on color and aesthetics of final product.
