oversized denim shorts

Behati Prinsloo was kicking off her first New Year as a mom with a fun family holiday in Mexico.

She was spotted out wearing a pair of oversized, distressed and frayed denim shorts. She wore them with a black spaghetti strap top and – hello furry slipper fans! – a pair of fuzzy pink slip-ons!

The hem length of these shorts is high-low, which is a super fab and different way to cut off your denim shorts. If you leave the hem longer in the back and shorter at the front, this will make your legs look longer and leaner. And Behati also chose to over-size her short, so that they look even more slouchy and edgy.

You can buy similar denim cut-offs at Nordstrom and at ASOS.

  1. These are perfect, comfy, confident, happy post-partum & on vacation shorts, accentuating the positive & enjoying life. Genius.

She looks great in these because she has great legs & beautiful skin. These shorts attract a lot of attention. If a person’s legs aren’t aren’t a best feature, or the setting is urban, a longer & less flashy cut would be better. The same cut jean, cut off to just below the knee, for instance would look great on most mere mortals. The hem could be a reverse high low with the knees covered and the back of the thigh showing a bit or the sides showing, depending on the person’s legs.

    Inspiring post. Thanks!
