flare jeans

Jessica Alba is having a dark blue denim moment! She wore a rather nondescript pair of dark wash flare jeans that seem to be a staple in a lot of denim wardrobes. Nothing wrong with them, but they are just sooo blah…. More so, a Jessica wore them with a pair of extremely pointy nude pumps peeking out from under the flare. A bit weird looking.

But, then again, Jessica kind of made up for those boring jeans by adding a funky denim clutch from Roger Vivier, featuring a long metal chain and flower applications.

Jessica finished off her look with a cozy looking beige wool coat from N12H in a boxy silhouette with button front closure.

If you are a dark blue flare jeans denim girl, you can buy them at Nordstrom and at Shopbop.

  1. I usually don’t like flares. These seem to be OK because they aren’t tight in the thigh or extra wide or crazy long at the hem. I agree that they’re boring and I would cut them off to the top of the foot, but I’m relieved to see a pair of jeans without faux break in. If she keeps these jeans for a long time, I’m sure they will keep getting better looking. She seems to have a quiet style, which I appreciate. Also, jeans should only be the focal point of an outfit if that’s the area you want to show off. If you want the eye to go elsewhere these jeans are perfect for that. On-trend, appropriate no matte where you are and versatile. These jeans would work well for a business meeting in West Los Angeles.
