Silver Jeans Co., the Canadian-based brand known for producing high-quality denim, announced today the launch of their first-ever web series titled “Love Below the Waist”. The 9-part romantic comedy premiered now in February, with a new episode rolling out daily until the big finale on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. The series will be available on the Silver Jeans Co. official website as well as the company’s YouTube page.

“Love Below the Waist” is a funny, quirky story that follows two pairs of jeans on their journey of love. From their first meeting in a fitting room to the dates, drama and social mayhem that follows, viewers will experience the awkwardness of a budding relationship from a unique, “below-the-waist” point of view. The series is filled with all-too-relatable situations and quotable one-liners. Sassy, cheeky and sometimesstraight-up ridiculous, “Love Below the Waist” stylishly captures the experience of dating in today’s world.

The series was created by Todd Grant and John Knecht at CHUM Seattle,in collaboration with Atelier Productions. The videos were directed by Milana Vayntrub, most recently known for her role as Sloane Sandburg on NBC’s “This is Us”. With years of experience in front of the camera, Vayntrub and her team brought a fresh perspective behind the lens with innovative camera angles and great dialogue.

“Milana was the perfect person for the project,” said Silver Jeans CEO Michael Silver. “She took all of our ideas and turned them into something that our brand can stand behind and be proud of.

”The episodes were written by John Knecht, Milana Vayntrub and Todd Grant. Director of Photography was Christopher Lazenberg. Music by Nick Stumpf. Edited and finished by Andy Seaver. Executive produced by Jay Howard, Dan Duffy and Jacki Sextro and produced by Hungry Man Productions.

“Love Below the Waist” is part of Silver Jeans Co.’s efforts to expand their digital marketing. “We recognized the opportunities video content can create for brands and thought it was the perfect way to capture a new, more digital-driven audience,” said Silver. The series will not only give customers a new way to interact and engage with the brand, but gives Silver Jeans Co. a new platform to tell their story and bring their brand voice to life.

Hint Hint – from the Silver guys: “We have 9 videos total! Each day we’re releasing a new one and you can “binge watch” all 9 on Valentines Day! [email protected]!! ;-). For now you can have a look at part one (above) and two (below) – so cute!
