Tired of Being “ripped”? We got you covered! Go for the Parker Smith Ava Skinny in Pacific.

I don’t know how you feel about it, but right now I feel like as if I have had an overdose of ripped and holey and destructed. Don’t get me wrong, I do love my ripped bad boys, but lately I have found myself longing for a pair of like very “normal” dark blue skinny jeans with an amount of stretch that allows me to have an occasional 7-layer cake after dinner, but without giving me the “legging” feel. Bingo the Parker Smith Ava Skinny in Pacific.

I was looking for a pair of 5-pocket jeans with real pockets in front and not fakes ones like I see all over. And I wanted them to be in an ankle length without any frayed and unfinished hem. And I also wanted big enough back pockets to make my butt look – well – like a real butt and not like a book shelf.

Sounds simple, right? Shouldn’t be a problem, more so for a denim blogger, right? Incredible, but it took me quite a while surfing the web and checking out denim collections until I finally arrived at the check-check-check pair of Parker Smith jeans.

Dark blue wash – check – but with the special extra of yellow stitching that has somehow disappeared in most collections.
Real front pockets – check.
Big back pockets – check.
And there’s the extra bonus of power stretch without the “legging” feel – the fourth “check”!

“nough said, time for action and my 7-layer cake is waiting!

And while you are at it, if dark blue with yellow stitching isn’t really your thing, they have them in a dark wash without these as well.

  1. I like the dark wash. I don’t like the orange stitching. These jeans don’t flatter from the back. The high, small pockets make the seat look large and droopy.

    • Total disagree this time, kitty – I am wearing these exact jeans right now. The back pockets are actually bigger than usual and as I said in my post – I finally seem to have a butt YAY!!!

  2. I enjoy my ripped jeans but these are a beautiful solid blue. I would love to try these on somewhere. I bet they are so flattering.

    • This is eactly my point the wash is simple and to the point. Dark blue with no fading is such a perfect way to do a “no rip” denim day. Especially since I usually live in everything ripped and destroyed. I suggest emailing PS and asking them about where they are selling close to where you live.
