knee hole jeans

Continuing with our series about how best to solve the problem of sliding down jeans, we have asked Marco Lucietti, global marketing director of ISKO, for his advice:

“The issue of jeans sliding down can be attributed both to the fabric that is used, if fabrics with bad stretch quality are used, they will not perform, and to the cut/fit of the jeans as well as the waistband construction. ISKO’s patented Recall™ stretch technology hugs the body like a second skin, providing 3-D sculpting effect and a very comfortable hug to your body without bagging out. But unless it is combined with the right fit, which is the brand’s choice, it will not have the proper effect. That is why ISKO™ provides style and design services through ISKO Creative Room™ in Italy to make sure that garments using ISKO™ high performance patented stretch fabrics have the right fit matching to the ultimate ISKO™ denim fabric performance.”

The list of brands using ISKO denim includes mega brands like DL1961, Frame, J Brand, and L’Agence – just to mention a few. As well as international brands including Replay and Diesel among many others.

  1. Le Skinny de Jeanne is my favorite skinny of all time, for cut and fabric. I will never buy stretch skinny denim from DL1061 again, after 4 extreme disappointments with fit and fabric.
The concept of the jogger jean above looks very good, but the wash is hideous. Otherwise I would have tried it on, just in case the fabric is acceptable for a loose cut.
