wide leg jeansUgh, please no! -:(

Hilary shows us here how NOT to wear two-toned jeans.

First of, she is rather on the short side and not exactly skinny. These two-toned jeans are totally wrong for her. The panels of the lighter and darker denim kind of “cut” her down, making her look even shorter and heavier than she actually is. And also, the wide leg jeans are too tight on her, folds are all over the front of her hips and on the upper legs.

The fabric of these jeans is also not flattering at all, it looks more like a cheesy chambray than denim anyway.

If you are on the shorter and curvier side, stay away from wide leg jeans. And by all means, avoid any kind of horizontal stripes or paneling.

AND do not pair two-tone cropped jeans like these with a flimsy striped top – the whole look is totally bizarre!

You could instead go for a pair of two-toned jeans (with vertical insets) from TREASURE & BOND, 7 for All Mankind, and DL1961.
