The evolution of GOLDSIGN leading into Fall 2017 takes on the simplicity of 1980’s American sportswear. Creative Director Karen Phelps makes subtle references to this fashion decade with the debut of her second collection for the luxury women’s denim label.
Inspired by the overt detailing of 1980’s designer denim and luxury essentials, the collection combines the 80’s influence with a modern design aesthetic. Under Phelp’s direction, the collection has evolved to include a range of key bottoms and outerwear, comprised of impeccably constructed denim staples and jersey separates. The forward thinking styles are crafted in the most luxurious and elevated fabrications, communicating a sophisticated designer sensibility. The collection continues to showcase the label’s signature construction elements such as the intricate ghost back pockets. Thoughtful details such as tromp l’oeil trouser creasing and menswear inspired tailoring run throughout the collection.
Goldsign is one of the brands that offer a more classic kind of denim but without the tedious and boring washes and styles as many other classic brands usually offer.
