black jeans

Did you ever wonder how come that with many American brands the European and Asian collections of the same brands are very different…

It happens to me all the time when I go to Europe, for example, and see the Lee denim collection available there. Not only are the washes and styles very different from what we are used to seeing here in the USA, but the price point is is also that of a premium denim brand. And honestly, I very prefer the European Lee jeans to the present American collection. With the exception, of course, the vintage Lee jeans you can find in vintage stores and thrift shops here – if you are lucky 😉

Lee has now given Americans the option to buy their European jeans – both for men and women – here in the USA, as well. I have been invited to preview them in their showroom. Super cool, great styles an fits, and totally modern and contemporary including also some stretch denim that really looks and feels like “real” denim:

“This contemporary, high-end collection was created by European fashion insiders and is crafted with high end, power stretch denim. Expertly contoured, the jeans are designed to enhance the waist and sculpt your body for a flattering fit. Finishing touches include vintage copper buttons and rivets as well as the iconic leather Lee® back patch.”

“Lee Jeans is a staple in the European market, and we are excited to share this high-end collection with consumers in the U.S. as part of our commitment to craft trend-forward styles for people of every size, shape and style. We’re confident our shoppers will enjoy the flattering look and power stretch denim featured throughout the collection.”

You can shop for the Lee European collection on the Lee website.
