Celebrity style can get a little funky sometimes, but it really pushed boundaries during Fashion Week.
Bella Hadid was the latest model to test those limits when she wore what appeared to be two pairs of jeans at once to a Paris Fashion Week after-party.
It appears that she wore a pair of cropped culottes over full-length straight leg jeans, but in reality, these are a pair of shorts-meets-skinny-jeans hybrid by Kiev-based designer Ksenia Schnaider.
Bella has long been supportive of emerging fashion talent and has put quite a few designers on the map. Last winter, for example, she wore Georgian label Situationist out to dinner, and earlier this week, she took Turkish brand Dilara Findikoglu on the road. Schnaider is the latest up-and-comer to be given the Hadid treatment. The designer riffed on the idea of wearing culottes over skinny jeans when she introduced a style called the Demi: a wider fit at the top that tapers down below the knee.
Never one to shy away from test driving more than one statement piece at time, Bella wore hers with an Off-White scuba-style crop top with a racing motif from the Off-White Spring ’18 collection. The full-throttle message was in direct contrast to the off-duty denim below, and Hadid added a few unexpected accessories: pointed-toe pumps, also from Off-White, Dior drop logo earrings, and tiny framed sunglasses from Roberi & Fraud.
