If you are reading Denimology regularly, you know that we all are big fans of the RE/DONE brand. Innovative, edgy, and not too fashion-concerned, RE/DONE does its own thing and we totally obsess with every single piece.
As you have come to appreciate, most of the RE/DONE’s pieces are made of recycled vintage jeans, most of them old Levi’s.
For instance, their mini denim skirt is actually made out of two pairs of jeans.
The reworked collection for spring and summer 2018 looks easy and edgy, even though the processes of how to get there is extremely rigorous.
If you thought there was a limit to how many ways you can rework those jeans (and hoodies, T-shirts, and leather jackets), this collection proved otherwise.
And there is a lot more in there than just old Levi’s: tiger jeans, floral denim and also a quite fun and interesting pair of jeans with ripped out back pockets that were re-attached to the front of the jeans (see image above). How cool is this!
