Yesterday, March 22nd, was World Water Day and we @Denimology want to point out again the importance of sustainability.

Triarchy is one of the denim brands that have switched totally to #sustainabledenim and we are delighted about their efforts.

“At Triarchy, everything we do brings us back to the question:

“How much water are you wearing?”

In observance of World Water Day, we wanted to remind you to wash your clothes less often, and when you do, always wash them in cold water. Turn off your tap while you’re brushing your teeth or shaving, take shorter showers, and shop sustainable for fashion and food.

With every pair of Triarchy Jeans sold we contribute a percentage to ISLA URBANA, who in turn builds and installs rainwater catchment systems for people in and around Mexico City without access to fresh water.

Triarchy saves over 1500 gallons of water per every pair of jeans we make, and we give fresh water back with every pair of jeans sold.”
