While I was writing my blog about GAP’s sustainable denim launch, I took a minute to also check out the jeans they have in their spring/summer collection right now. I stopped at their special edition, which brings back the GAP trademark 1969 jeans. Where it all began. My newest denim passion was right there!
These two-tone black and grey girlfriend jeans got me hooked. In terms of style and trend they are spot on: mid rise, cropped and unfinished hem, with an easy fit an tapered legs. The denim is almost rigid, with only a very small percentage of stretch, and the washed out black gives them the perfect vintage vibe.
Also, I am more than ready for a pair of two-tone jeans in black and grey, after having gone through – I lost count of how many – blue two toned denims the past seasons.
For the really reasonable price of $81 (on sale), you can get a great pair of jeans that are cool, edgy, and trendy. AND with that vintage feel that is a must-have for all denim lovers.
