Baldwin has come a long way since launching as a pure denim brand. In the last few years they have expanded, adding to their collections items that can be worn with your jeans. Then came the store opening in New York’s Soho among other brick and mortar store locations, and this past month they have opened another flagship store in Austin. A grand opening which showcased the Baldwin newest Holiday 2018/19 collection.
Inspired by American modernism through architecture and design, BALDWIN took a minimalist approach with the store’s décor, complementing mid-century furnishings with wood-paneled walls, raw-steel finished fixtures and custom designed tables.
The Austin store features BALDWIN’s Holiday 2018 collection, a 73-piece selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear separates ranging from $58 tanks/tees to $1,198 coats.
Holiday 2018 offers modern essentials in hues of natural gray, winter white, navy and black complemented by unexpected pops of red and pale pink.
The fall 2018 core collection will also be available in store including Baldwin’s best-sellers, the Reese jean, Nora blouse, and Flint jacket for women,. For men the Artema jacket, the Arabella pant, and Brennan jean.
“We are honored and excited to be a part of the thriving community of creative talent and authentic spirit of Austin and look forward to having our customers experience BALDWIN’s modern American design among all of the culture within tech, design, art and music industries here,” said Johnathan Crocker, President of BALDWIN.
To celebrate the brand’s new Texas home, BALDWIN will custom-design wool hats emblazoned with an “A” for Austin for the first 50 purchases over $200 retail. There will be more curated events and activation through the calendar year.
Austin, TX is just one of the recent investments made by the brand. With the addition of Austin, BALDWIN now has six mono-brand and one concept store in America, including the recently opened San Jose, CA location.
