Checking out new denims is one of the most fun must-do’s of any denim lover. And one of my favorite past-times 🙂
Coming across Colovos, I was impressed about the creativity of the designers. Not only were they mixing very different kinds of denims, but they also went very much into any kind of possible details when creating a piece. Oversized patch pockets on shirts (above), eye-catching back pocket (below), and layering of many different items.
“Colovos is the authentic collective vision of longtime husband and wife collaborators Michael and Nicole Colovos.
Colovos offers a curated selection of exquisitely constructed clothing for the modern woman made in Italy and the USA. The aesthetic is a seamless blend of clean, architectural lines, beautiful fabrics and thoughtfully considered details. Colovos blends traditional tailoring/craftsmanship with modern minimal shapes to create a new take on an everyday wardrobe.”
And there is more, Colovos is sustainable, their denim is from a small denim mill sourced in Japan, made in the USA, and washed in a facility that uses recycled filtered water.
Even though I am more into basic and classic vintage denim, every once in a while there is an occasion when I like to dress up my denim a bit. And this is definitely when I will think of Colovos.
