Here is a brand that makes shopping for the perfect pair of jeans easier. Defining the rise of jeans has become difficult by just looking at jeans, and numbers many times don’t mean much when it comes to fit. For instance – and I am talking about my personal experience – a 10 inch rise may as well fit me like a hi-rise or a mid-rise, depending on the cut and style of the jeans.
So, thank you, rag & bone for making our denim choices easier:
“For Spring 2019, rag & bone introduces a new fit architecture that has been developed to simplify the customer experience. The new range comprises of silhouettes grouped by rise: Low, Mid, High and Super High, to make for an effortless and comprehensive discovery in finding the perfect fit.
The Low, available in the Dre was developed around the original boyfriend jean to sit on the hip and be relaxed through the thigh.
The Mid which is available in the Cate, sits above the hip and is slim through the thigh and skinny in the leg.
Sitting below the waist is the High assortment, which is a fresh take on the high rise skinny, cigarette and flare, now known as the Nina range, as well as the Maya High-rise ankle straight.
Super High is complemented by both the Ruth straight and wide leg, both sitting at the waist with slim hip and thigh and wide through the leg.
Named after confident and authentic women who embody the rag & bone spirit, the Dre, Cate, Nina, Maya and Ruth fits will be updated seasonally with a variety of leg shapes and washes, while the rise will remain consistent.
“A traditional jean is an iconic piece of American heritage and it’s a true form of craftsmanship. We continue to challenge what it means to make the best pair of jeans. We doubled down on what matters the most with our newest denim, the fit, reworking and perfecting every single aspect while streamlining the architecture into a simple collection of four rises: low, mid, high and super high.” explains Marcus Wainwright, rag & bone Founder and Chief Brand Officer.
