Top Jean of The Week: Trave Blake Straight Jeans

As I had promised yesterday in my post about Kendall Jenner wearing a Trave double denim outfit, here’s my review of this week’s top jean: the Trave Blake High Rise Straight Leg jean.

When Trave denim first launched last year, they offered me a pair of their core denims, the Constance jean to try on. Being that it was a new brand, I was quite skeptical about the fit when I asked for my regular size. Surprise – it was a hit at first try. The fit was great, and so were the wash and the feel of the denim. You all know by now that I am pretty much a 100% cotton denim lady. And Trave does almost exclusively 100% cotton jeans.

This season I received another one of their jeans, the Blake, featuring a high waist and a straight leg with a big cuff. The hem is unfinished and a bit frayed and YAY! It is perfect for the long legged ladies as well as for us shorties (I am 5’4″).

I cut off the jeans about two inches and re-cuffed them, and the look is perfect. And the best thing: I can adjust the cuff according to the shoes I am wearing with the jeans. Like a bigger cuff when worn with sneakers, and a smaller one when wearing my boots.

If this isn’t versatile, then I don’t know what is LOL!

You can buy the Blake jeans at Nordstrom and at Bergdorf Goodman.
